日本とアメリカ

なかみさんは今年のお正月に友だちとりょこうすると言っています。 日本人は今年のお正月によくおせちを食べると言っています。  

アメリカのおんがくのリズムがいいから、アメリカのおんがくのほうがにほんのよりすきです。 Simple Planがいちばんすきだと言っています。 "Shut Up"といううたがすきだから。




I thought it was interesting that Japan has traditional foods for new years, since in America we generally don't have much tradition for it. I think the only thing I would consider an American tradition for new years is simply staying up until midnight and possibly watching something on TV (the ball dropping in Times Square) or seeing fireworks. I'd also be a little curious as to what those traditional foods are and if they are typically had only at new years, or at other occasions as well.
